About
Ianna Yao works in fashion and beauty, at the point where creative design meets retail business.
She studied Fashion Design and Fashion Business at Parsons School of Design, and her time at Columbia Business School focused on retail business. One taught her how a product is made. The other taught her how it sells.
She has worked in New York, Beijing and Toronto, with houses including Louis Vuitton, Giorgio Armani, Proenza Schouler, Ferragamo and Brandon Maxwell, across design, merchandising, CRM, wholesale and digital content. That gives her a full 360 view of a brand.
She brings real energy to the work, and treats a hard brief as an opening.
